The Parish Council would like to thank Tony Foster for the time and effort he has devoted to maintaining an excellent website for the Parish for many years. Sadly, Tony will be moving from Holme shortly and has stepped down from his role as webmaster. In order to comply with new government guidance the Parish Council has taken the decision to create this new website devoted solely to Parish Council Business including the Neighbourhood Plan. All of the material relating to village matters can still be found at the same address on the village website – Holme-next-the-Sea.co.uk. We are grateful to Russell Healy who has kindly taken on the role of webmaster for the village site.

Council Meetings
Are usually held at 7pm in the Village Hall on Kirkgate on the second Tuesday of each month (unless specified elsewhere). There is usually no meeting in August.

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place at 6.00pm on 11th May immediately prior to the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council at 7.00pm.

Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer
Dave Watkins will be retiring from his role as Parish Clerk at the end of June. His last PC Meeting will be on Tuesday 16 June and his last working day will be on Friday 26th. Dave has provided the PC and our parishioners with an excellent service for almost 6 years now. During this time he has got to know many of those in the parish personally and he has developed strong relationships with our community groups and suppliers as well as Members and Officers of the Borough and County Councils. The Parish Council would like to thank Dave for the enormous contribution he has made to the Parish and we wish Dave and Kathy all the very best for the future.
Taking over from Dave our new Parish Clerk is Jackie Kitch. Jackie lives locally and following a period of handover from Dave, she will be settling in to the role and will be contactable by email on the usual address [email protected] with effect from July. Please join us in welcoming Jackie to Holme. We hope that Jackie will enjoy working for the Parish Council and our community and that she will find her new job both interesting and rewarding.
